Experienced Wine Label Designers Wanted
Finger Lakes Community College began a concentration in Viticulture and Enology (Winemaking) with its first students producing wine with their first vintage from the harvest of 2010. Sharing laboratory and classroom space, Associate Professor Paul Brock began to assemble the fundamental equipment necessary to produce and test wine.
The first two vintages, named by the students in the winemaking course, were called 'First Class' and 'Higher Taste'. They voted and agreed to label designs submitted and recommended and proposed changes. THe amount of wine produced was not as significant as the talents acquired by the students attending the coursework and those who gained experience in the wine label design.
